BREAKING: Bovino Defies Obama Judge, Vows To Go Harder On Illegal Alien Arrests

Chief Border Patrol Agent Greg Bovino is refusing to bow to political pressure after a leftist Obama-appointed judge attempted to restrict his agents’ use of force during violent anti-ICE riots in Chicago.
Instead, Bovino doubled down — promising to surge illegal alien arrests and expose the court to the brutal reality of what law enforcement faces daily.
“Those operations continue unabated! Her orders have no effect on Operation Midway Blitz!” Bovino declared in a fiery statement this week. “We will speed those apprehensions up and go even harder now. We go harder now, and I’m not worried about it at all.”
His defiance comes after U.S. District Judge Sarah Ellis of the Northern District of Illinois ordered him to report to her daily following clashes between ICE officers and radical anti-ICE protesters. Ellis, an Obama appointee, had previously issued an order barring the use of riot control tactics except when officers’ lives were in danger — an order that activists quickly weaponized to claim “excessive force.”
Bovino made it clear during a Fox News interview with Harris Faulkner that he wasn’t backing down and welcomed the chance to show the judge exactly what his agents endure.
“If she wants to meet with me every day, then she is going to see — she is going to have a very good first-hand look at just how bad things really are on the streets of Chicago,” Bovino told Faulkner. “I look forward to meeting with that judge to show her exactly what is happening and the extreme amount of violence perpetrated against law enforcement here.”
Bovino’s Operation Midway Blitz targets illegal immigrants and violent agitators attempting to obstruct immigration enforcement in the Chicago area — a city already ravaged by record levels of crime under soft-on-crime Democrat leadership.
Fox News aired footage from an October 2 ICE operation where officers were attacked by leftist mobs hurling rocks, bottles, and fireworks at federal agents. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) later confirmed the video’s authenticity and released additional clips showing the chaos.
“You were hit in the head by a rock hurled by a rioter,” Faulkner noted during the segment. “Multiple rocks and other objects — I saw a bottle full of water, I would assume, so heavy — thrown at the heads of people there, your agents. Fireworks shot towards the agents, we also see someone with a knife appearing to slash or try to slash a government vehicle’s tire.”
Despite these violent attacks, Judge Ellis has demanded that Bovino meet with her daily, an unprecedented move that critics say amounts to judicial harassment of a law enforcement officer simply doing his job.
“This is what happens when unelected activist judges put politics over public safety,” one DHS official told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “They’d rather lecture Border Patrol than protect Americans.”
Bovino, who has served in border enforcement for over three decades, said he’s seen plenty of judges — but few as politically motivated as Ellis.
“Each judge does things a different way, and this is an adapt-to-the-situation type thing,” he said. “But I’ll tell you this — we’re not slowing down. The rule of law doesn’t stop because someone in a robe doesn’t like it.”
Reports indicate that rioters in Chicago have been escalating their tactics, including calls to “arrest or shoot” ICE agents — rhetoric echoed by radical anti-border groups online.
Still, Bovino’s message to his agents and the American people is simple: the mission continues.
“Those operations continue unabated,” Bovino reiterated. “We go harder now.”
The defiant commander’s stance has earned widespread praise from conservatives, law enforcement groups, and citizens tired of watching the justice system side with criminals over officers.
Social media erupted with support following his Fox appearance. “Bovino is CRUSHING IT!” one post read. “Never give up!”
As Operation Midway Blitz ramps up in the heart of Chicago, Bovino is sending a clear signal to both Washington bureaucrats and street agitators — that the men and women protecting America’s borders will not be intimidated.
Whether standing up to activist judges or violent mobs, Greg Bovino is proving what true leadership looks like.
